Presented in partnership with Downtown Wheaton Association and City of Wheaton

Your “presents” is requested at this year’s Wheaton Christmas Parade! Join us for a joyful celebration of the season as this colorful, light-filled parade moves down Wheaton Avenue and Front Street in Downtown Wheaton.

Spectators of all ages will enjoy magical floats, meet your favorite character before or after the parade and see Santa! End your festive-filled evening with the Nights of Lights lighting ceremony in Adams Park immediately following the parade.

The Wheaton Christmas Parade steps off at 6P on Friday, November 26. The parade will begin at Wheaton and Wesley Avenues and head South on Wheaton Avenue, then East on Front Street and will end on Cross Street. The viewing stand will be on Front Street. View a Parade Route Map (PDF)

Street parking will be closed at 3P on Wheaton Avenue, Seminary Avenue, Wesley Street and Front Street to allow for parade staging and to ensure a safe route for attendees and parade participants. Karlskoga Avenue will be closed beginning at 12P.

Wheaton Place Parking Garage located at 232 West Wesley Street will be accessible before, during and after the parade off of Wesley Street through the alley.

Parking garage entrances on Front Street and the exit on Wheaton Avenue will be closed during the parade. Please follow on-site traffic personnel while entering and exiting the parking garage during the parade.

Streets will be reopened immediately following the parade. We are anticipating the parade length to be approximately 1 hour.
