Field of Honor®

June 29-July 4  | Seven Gables Park

Come see 2,000 American flags on display!

In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States, the Wheaton Field of Honor proudly returns for its 5th year, offering a powerful and inspiring patriotic experience for the entire community. As our nation marks this historic milestone, this meaningful tradition provides a special opportunity to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and service that have shaped America for two and a half centuries.

During this special five-day display, 2,000 American flags stand in perfectly aligned rows, creating a breathtaking tribute to soldiers, veterans, first responders, and personal heroes. Each flag is dedicated to an individual and represents stories of courage, sacrifice, and service. Community members and volunteers work together to create and maintain the display with the utmost care and respect.

Visitors are encouraged to stroll through the Field of Honor and experience the moving atmosphere of unity and gratitude. Nightly patriotic elements- including vocalists, bagpipers, drummers, Honor Guards, flyovers, and the playing of Taps- add to the meaningful experience and provide moments of reflection for all ages.

Join us at Seven Gables Park as we celebrate 250 years of American freedom and honor those who continue to serve and protect our nation.
