Go Fly a Kite

May 1, 2021 | 10A-12P | Graf Park

Go Fly a Kite is a free event held in Wheaton’s Graf Park that encourages the community to come out and enjoy spring and fly kites!

This year’s kite event will not only kick-off the Wheaton Park District’s 100th Anniversary year-long celebration, it will look a little different.

EVENT DETAILS

Complimentary Kite for First 100

The first 100 families to arrive will receive a complimentary kite to fly that day or you are welcome to bring your own kite for flying. The kite flying team will be flying some fun kites for all to enjoy.

Buy Your Kite in Advance

Gift of Wings has generously supported this event for more than a decade. This small family-owned shop out of Milwaukee, WI is led by Scott Fisher. He is passionate about kite flying and sharing the fun of it throughout the Midwest. Onsite kite sales will be available. If you want to have your kite in advance or can’t make the event this year, check out the Gift of Wings website and get your family a high-quality kite for this spring and summer.

GIFT OF WINGS
If you want to save on shipping, email Scott directly and he will preorder your kite and drive it down with him for pick-up on the day of the event, May 1.
