Lions Club Reindeer Run VIRTUAL 5K

Run the 5K route of your choice anytime between Saturday, December 5 and Saturday, December 19, 2020.

Presented in partnership by Wheaton Park District and Wheaton Lions Club Charities

Get into the holiday spirit in a virtual and active way with this festive 5K!

This winter 5K is sure to put you in the holiday spirit – in fact, we even encourage it! Pick a route or jump on your treadmill in your best Santa hats or assortment of jingle bells and Run Run Rudolph to the finish line of your choice! Runners receive a long-sleeve tech t-shirt. A finisher certificate is available for download after the runner submits their time online.

Due to the guidance from the State of Illinois, this year’s race will be VIRTUAL!

Run the 5K route of your choice anytime between Saturday, December 5 and Saturday, December 19. All registered runners will be mailed a race shirt. Shirts will be mailed in late December to the address used during race registration.

Thank you to all of the sponsors, participants, and charitable organizations involved in this race.

Wheaton Lions’ Club Charities primarily supports programs that serve the visually and hearing impaired, programs that help people with diabetic-related health issues, and many local social service groups.

Runner safety is a top priority. We encourage all event participants to adhere to the Chicago Area Runner’s Association social-distancing and runner safety guidelines. In the traditional in-person format, this race is a CARA certified race. While CARA does not certify virtual races, we are committed to following these guidelines; a high set of standards for quality, safety, and operationally sound races.
