Superhero 3K Fun Run

April 18 | 8:30A | Sensory Garden Playground (2751 International Drive, Lisle)

Superheroes Unite! Join us on April 18 at 8:30A with your friends and family and show off your superpower at the Superhero 3K Fun Run, taking place at the Sensory Garden Playground!

All participants are invited to wear their favorite superhero attire as they participate in this 3K Fun Run so break out your Wonder Woman costume, Captain America t-shirt, or Iron Man mask! Along the way, you will see some of your favorite superheroes who will cheer you on! After the run, stick around for music, character meet and greets, and more fun! All registrants will receive a commemorative hat, keychain, and post-race refreshments.

Superhero Fun Run is an untimed run/walk and is open to all ages and abilities. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Play for All Playground & Garden Foundation.

POLICIES

Inclement Weather
This race will happen rain or shine! The run committee monitors the weather and follows the proper protocol in place regarding inclement weather including but not limited to thunderstorms, tornadoes and heat. The run committee holds the right to cancel, alter, or postpone the event in the interest of runner, volunteer and staff safety. Registration is non-refundable.

Can we bring strollers? Pets? Skates? Bicycles?
Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed but will be asked to line up in the last wave of the race start. Participant safety is of the utmost importance, therefore, bicycles, in-line skates, and other wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs) are not allowed. Any person riding in a stroller must remain in the stroller for the duration of the race. Pets are NOT permitted in this race. This is for the safety of your pet. Service animals must be approved by the race director ONE WEEK prior to race day.
