Celebrate Veterans Day with U.S. Army Armor Officer (retired) Steve Fixler as he shares the history of the 745th independent tank battalion that supported the First Infantry Division during World War II. Fixler, a volunteer at the First Division Museum at Cantigny Park, will discuss and honor DuPage and Northern Illinois soldiers from the 745th. Additionally, attendees will be able to get an up-close look at a WWII tanker uniform as well as photographs and maps from the time.
*Walk-ins also welcome
