I am going to the Superhero Fun Run. The run will be outside at the Sensory Garden Playground.

If I want, I can get dressed up in a superhero costume!

When I get there, I may need to visit the check-in table and wait in line to check in with event staff.

I will be at the event with many other race participants. If it is too loud, I can wear my earplugs or headphones.

I will line up at the start line, with the other kids and adults. There will be a large sign that shows where the start is.

There will be music playing, a countdown and then a loud noise to signal the start of the race.

There may be bubbles floating close to the start line. If I don’t like bubbles, I can move away from them on the path.

I will follow along the race route, which will include the road, gravel and wood chip paths.

There will be signs along the race route that show me where to go.

The race will end at the playground.

At the end of the race, I will be given a keychain and can get a snack, water and other fun items.

I will see superhero characters along the race route or at the playground. I can say hi and take a picture with them.

I can play with my family or friends on the playground.

I can also get my face painted if I want.

When I am ready to go, I will leave the playground and head back to the parking lot with my family or friends.
