Wheaton Landmark Has a New Name!

WHEATON, IL – Central Athletic Center, located at 500 S. Naperville Road, has a new name. Over the years it has adopted many names in its almost-a-century-long history. It opened in the mid-1920s as Wheaton Community High School. From 1992-2006, the building became Hubble Middle School. In 2012, Bradford Equities purchased the old Hubble Middle School property from Community Unit School District 200 and the Wheaton Park District purchased the 50,000-square-foot section of the former school that contains the gymnasiums along with the ball fields and park.
