At the July 17 park board meeting, Johan van Nispen was recognized for a project at Cosley Zoo.

The project involved creating landscaped areas surrounding the amphitheater. Johan was instrumental in developing the design, soliciting donations of plans from local nurseries and organizing volunteers to install the design.
