FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 31, 2022

WHEATON–If you’re looking for a wild evening out, set your GPS for Cosley Zoo on Thursday, September 15.

More than 50 different wines will be uncorked at this year’s Cosley Zoo Uncorked event, a wine-tasting party for a good cause.

Proceeds will benefit Cosley Zoo, home to more than 200 animals representing more than 50 species, nestled in a wooded area on the north side of Wheaton.

The event will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. as visitors mingle while enjoying the company of the zoo’s fascinating resident pigs, llamas, cows, foxes and new Canada lynx.

This year’s event will introduce animal-themed wine tasting stations – one dedicated to dessert wines and scrumptious desserts.

The evening will be topped off with live entertainment, appetizers and raffle drawings.

After comparing and contrasting sips and sups, guests may order their favorite finds from Famous Liquors, a merchant that will donate 10 percent of all orders placed during the event to the zoo.

Get there early – the first 450 guests will receive a commemorative wine glass.

Tickets are $50 per person. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Uncorked will go on, rain or shine. No refunds will be available.

Cosley Zoo Uncorked is sponsored by Fairhaven Wealth.  For more information and to order tickets, please visit cosleyzoo.org.
