Wheaton, IL— The Wheaton Park District recently completed the installation of a synthetic turf athletic field at Graf Park, the first of its kind in the district. To celebrate the new field, residents are invited to attend a ribbon cutting on Friday, August 22 at 6 pm. Wheaton, IL — Rotary International and its districts have awarded a global grant in the amount of $5,075 to the Central DuPage Rotary AM Club to start phase one sound garden of the Sensory Garden Playground. Central DuPage Rotary Club along with the Carol Stream Rotary Club and two International Clubs from Mexico have pledged money to match these funds bringing the total grant award to almost $11,000.
