Important: All skaters on the ice Monday-Friday 11A-4P during non-reservation hours must vacate the rinks at 3:45P unless they have a 4P reservation for that day.

* On weekdays during non-reservation hours, skaters must vacate the rinks by 3:45P unless they have a 4P reservation for that day.
** Outdoor ice rinks require sustained temperatures at or below 40 degrees. Before reserving tickets, please check our weather hotline.
+ If a holiday or scheduled District #200 school day off falls on a weekday, all open hours will require a reservation.
++Dist.#200 Schools will be closed on the following days in the 2025/2026 school calendar: Nov. 24, 25, 26, 28; Dec. 22, 23, 26, 29, 30; Jan. 2, 5, 19; Feb. 16 & 27.
† A valid Wheaton Park District Universal ID must be presented onsite with your timed-entry ticket. If you do not have a current ID, please visit the Ray Morrill Community Center or call 630.690.4880 to obtain a valid ID.

Rules:

Open Skate Rink Rules

No sticks, pucks, shooting devices, or hockey allowed.

  • Skating is at your own risk.
  • Wheelchairs are permitted on the ice if accompanied by a person wearing skates or ice cleats.
  • Participants must keep moving.
  • Roughhousing, excessive speeding, or weaving through other skaters is forbidden.
  • Tag and other games are prohibited.
  • No jumps, spins, figure, or backward skating.
  • Children 12 and under should be actively supervised by a guardian (16+ years).

Ice Hockey Rink Rules

No organized practices are allowed.

  • Skating is at your own risk.
  • No slap shots or lifting of the puck.
  • No checking/hitting, roughhousing/play fighting, pushing, slashing, hooking, high-sticking, or stick-lifting is allowed.
  • Participants must have a helmet, gloves, ice skates, and sticks of their own.
  • Children 12 and under should be actively supervised by a guardian (16+ years).
